Personal Effects/Household Goods

One of the first services we provided was shipping personal effects to world-wide destinations. Today we have expanded this service and are able to provide a wide range of facilities:

We can pickup your cargo at your facility, or you may deliver your cargo to our warehouse

You may bring your personal effects and do the packing yourself at our warehouse, or our experienced staff will do the packing for you, particularly for items such as Fridge/Freezers, TVs, Exercise Units, Antiques, Fragile Items etc.

We can provide a range of boxes to pack your P/E. They include Tea Chests, Heavy Duty Boxes, 10, 15, 20 and 25 Cubic Feet Wooden Boxes, etc.

We can deliver empty boxes to your facility so that you may pack yourself

We can provide custom made wooden boxes and crates

We can provide a full cargo insurance cover, covering goods intransit against loss and damage.

Glen Carriers will prepare all appropriate scheduling, booking and Bill of Lading which will enable you to claim your cargo from our agent at a given destination.

Full Container

Glen Carriers offers a reduced rate for your own or leased containers to almost any port in the world. For this service we provide the following facilities:

We can pickup your cargo at your facility, or you may deliver your cargo to our warehouse

You can choose to have the container delivered to your facility, or request the container to be delivered to our warehouse for loading

We can pack, wrap and crate your cargo at your facility or at our warehouse, or you may choose to arrange this yourself

Our experienced personnel can load your container, or you may load it yourself at your facility

We can provide a full cargo insurance cover, covering goods intransit against loss or damage.

Glen Carriers will prepare all appropriate scheduling, booking and customs declarations documentation. We will handle all arrangements to have the container delivered to the port for shipment. After the vessel has embarked from the UK port, we will issue the Bill of Lading which enables you to claim your container from our agent at destination.

Vehicles

Glen Carriers ships commercial or non-commercial vehicles of any size or form to almost anywhere in the world. We have a vast experience of shipping luxury vehicles, motor racing cars and agricultural vehicles. We can collect your vehicle(s) at your door, or you may deliver the vehicle(s) to the appropriate terminal. We can arrange for vehicle(s) to be stored in a fully secured and covered warehouse while awaiting shipment to the final destination.

We will provide you with a Bill of Lading and documentation which enables you to claim your vehicle(s) from our agent at its destination. We can pickup your cargo at your facility, or you may deliver the cargo to our facility.

Packing & Crating

Glen Carriers employees are experienced warehouse personnel who are well equipped and acquainted with the need for handling your cargo with care. At Glen Carriers we provide the following services:

You can have your cargo packed by our experienced staff at our warehouse or at your facility. When packing, we take time to pack with care to ensure the goods are well protected and packed efficiently to use the space avaliable effectively.

When we pack your cargo we use the finest packing materials such as large and small plastic bubble wrap, strong and durable cardboard boxes, high quality tapes, heavy duty plastic stretch film, high quality straps, etc.

You may bring your cargo to our warehouse in London and do the packing yourself.

We can provide a wide range of readymade boxes to pack your goods. They include Tea Chests, Heavy Duty Cardboard Boxes, 10, 15, 20 and 25 Cubic Feet Wooden Boxes, etc.

We can provide specially designed and built wooden and custom crates, panels and platforms for your glassware, special vehicles, machinery, medical equipment and other fragile items, for better protection.

Storage & Collection

For storage and collection Glen Carriers provides the following facilities:

Glen Carriers has its own large to medium size vehicles to collect your cargo from anywhere in London and surrounding areas. For large and specialised cargo we can arrange collection and packing anywhere in England. Alternatively we may advise you to arrange some local transportation to deliver goods to our warehouse, as this may be cost effective for you.

We can deliver a variety of empty cargo packing boxes to your facility so that you may do the packing yourself, and will collect the packed cargo from you. With this facility you do not even have to come to our office to complete the transaction. The invoice is created at the time of collection and if any other documentation is required it will be prepared and sent to you by post or special delivery

For shipment of vehicles, we can collect your vehicle(s) at your door, or you may deliver the vehicle(s) to the appropriate terminal. We can arrange for vehicle(s) to be stored in a fully secured and covered warehouse while awaiting shipment to the final destination.

Insurance

Glen Carriers takes extreme care in handling your cargo and we select only the most reliable shipping lines. However, in the unlikely event of any damage or loss of cargo, Glen Carriers offers a full comprehensive cargo insurance from a highly rated and licensed insurance company.
